1:24 diecast 1 week review

Just thought that I would do a one week owners review of the 1:24 diecast that I just got.

POSITIVES:
1- Great Styling.
2-excellent fit and finish on the exterior.
3-handles very easily.
4-creates lots of interest whenever anyone sees it.
5-No rear end leaks yet

NEGATIVES:
1-No Trunk
2-Interior looks like cheap plastic
3-No interior storage- can't find a place for my cell phone or IPOD.
4-No horsepower
5-I'm 6'2" & 200 lbs & I can't fit
6-No power door unlock switch
7-No power seat adjustors
8-Very low ground clearance
9-Top is inoperable

Other than these little problems I love this car. Please feel free to add or subtract details as your experience might be different.

I am seriously considering trading in my Mercedes die-cast to get one.

Am I nuts?

I have also decided to trade in my MX-5 diecast AND my Z4 diecast model, PLUS the matchbox versions of both the MX-5 and Z4 for one...

OMG, this thread just cracked me up

What mods are you considering? WR, cromies, CAI? How about a MALLET version?

Hey, it's 1/24 scale. You just gave me an idea. I bought three of these die casts. Any 1/24 Corvette model donor kit would cost about $15. A little surgery and POOF, a $50 Mallet!!!!!!!!!!

You would be a great candidate for a job at Consumer Reports. Wonder what the reviews are like for a Japanese die cast car?
