3 chin scrapes in one day. Arghh!

1. Exposed aggregate sidewalk in front of parking space.
2. Backing down steep driveway.
3. Driving down ramp in parking structure.

Time for some touchup work...

Unless you can see it without laying on the ground, I wouldn't worry about.

Only way to prevent this from happening is to have the car encased in carbonite as soon as it comes off the assembly line.

Those things are just going to happen.

To elinimate all the paint removal on the chin scrapes, I suggest your choice in duct tape. Iffen you put it down low enough, it won't be seen too easy. It will also scrape the tape first then the paint. Are you sure you are scrapping the front end chin and not the air dam under the Sky? I constantly scrape the air dam going over my street to driveway area. I thought at one time it was the front end chin but it was not....Skip....

No bumps in this lot- just one big step up to the sidewalk. Some nice low bumps would be nice- the wheels would hit them before the front hit the sidewalk.

Duct tape, eh Skip? I'm not sure about that...

Me I do not scrape the chin of my Sky. I park back far enough. Duct tape comes in many differant colors. Just put it on where it won't be seen and then the tape takes the brunt of scrapes not the paint....Skip...

How about gaffers tape? It has less tack on it and when you peel it off the paint or the clear bra it will leave without a residue....and you can get them in different colors.....

Congrats!! You've been baptized!!

The chin scrape had to be one of the most painful moments in my time with the Sky. Skip's right, duct tape that bad boy or do a touch up. Either way, the less you look at it, the less you'll think about it... give it a couple of days for it to set in. This would be the equivalent to my experience with my skys chin scrape..... ....IT SUCKED!!!
