Yikes!!!

That sucks hard! I have nightmares about such things. I've had my baby 3 days now and am so paranoid that I try to avoid roads with high traffic, Bumper to bumper, and parking lots. You don' t know how many people don't pay attention (on cell phones, eating , smoking, slapping kids in back seat) You really have to be an "offensive driver". So sorry, hope it's fixable to good as new!!! Good luck

Well everyone here is the story,

While I was sitting at a red light minding my own relaxing in the sun with the top down,

wait let put it this way

1 New Saturn sky.... $27,062

New pair of sunglasses.....$12.58

Country CD in the cd player...$14.99

The look on my face after the mother $%##@& slammed into my rear end and drove off while i sit in my once unscathed new car..........PRICELESS

Yea a truck full of "latinos" for lack of better words hit me and took off. the truck was later found at a home not far from the accident scene no tags no VIN tags no nothing, and I sit with a banged up sky 3 weeks later cause my dealership can't get me parts to fix it.

I am still driving it but i am upset

I'm speechless! That is one big ouch and I hope they can get parts soon to fix her up. Do you know how much damage? How does insurance work in the US, do they cover hit and run? Sorry, I feel for you.

Its just too much to take to look at those images ... I'm so sorry.

I don't know whats worse, seeing the Sky's beautiful lines ripped apart or the fact that you have even less trunk space now.

I deal with this scenario every day. It is extremely important for everyone to check their insurance limits and keep in mind that you almost need to carry the insurance to take care of you if you get whacked by an uninsured motorist. Underinsurance is about as bad. I am so glad you were not hurt. I worry daily about getting squished. But sometimes, stuff just happens. I hope it gets fixed soon!

It looks like you still have a temporary tag. That sucks. You have my luck. Two accidents in my life, both I was hit from the rear. The last one was by a guy who had nothing but a 72 Buick. No insurance, no drivers license, no job, just the 72 buick that he hit me with.
