49 years, and still looking good!

I recently made a road trip to a friends so we could go "out for Ice Cream".

He's got a 1958 Austin Healey that he's currently restoring. It's a beauty, and getting better all the time. It's now road legal, so he takes it down to the local ice cream stop from time to time...

Boy, did we get a lot of attention.

It's interesting that in 49 years the technology has advanced so far, but style is eternal.

(forgot the good camera, I'll get better pix next time)

That's the car that sold me on the Sky. I passed up buying a 1965 AH MkIII and have always regretted it.

It's neat to see one dream super-imposed on the latest (other than my wife).
