Any deals for onstar renewal?

Does anyone know if there are any discounts available for onstar renewal like there is for XM?

The only deals I've ever encountered with OnStar are discounts to upgrade from the basic program to Directions & Connections for a flat fee (I think I paid $100 for the year for the upgrade when I was under the free year).

The only other discounts I've seen involve the minutes for the OnStar calling minutes, but I don't use those anymore since I have Verizon Wireless.

It depends. I did a quick search and could not find threads on this altho I know some comments have been made, sometime last year if I recall. Usually there are no discounts for OS, HOWEVER, I have heard of a small discount AFTER the existing time expires. I have never been able to get it for less than list on both my OS equipped vehicles.. with me I don't care, I pay the going rate whatever it is, OS & phone and the over priced minutes..

After the year is up i am going to keep the OS, it is so worth it, i locked my keys in the car like last month and it was open in like two minutes,well worth the $99....but if i hear anything or see anything i will post it, SteveSky67
