Bluestone Sky [Many Color Discussions]
I dropped my Sky off for service today and they had new Bluestone. So I had to go look at it. It is almost a, well, add just a slight touch of blue to battleship gray, and you have it. It was not as bad as the pictures on line, but I still think green is the best color for a Sky

Actually, black is the absence of all color, so without the added weight of color, it theoretically should be the fastest.
However, Silver Pearl is the cleanest. ![]()

Down here in Florida black or midnite blue is the "hottest"-- White is the "coolest" --All the others fall in between--Anything with a "black top" will be HOT--don't care what body color is--I would venture to say that if it had a "tan" top the cars interior will be cooler--(as in temperature cooler). Conclusion? If you are up north get black all around, if your in da south, get white and a tan--
![]() PS: It has been proven "Scientifically" that black attracts more heat from the sun whilst white repells heat--

As much as I DO like GREEN, as a US ARMY veteran, green just reminds me to much of OLIVE DRAB--ARMY GREEN__ain't gonna happen--I guess you need to be a vet to appreciate what I mean--

I hope you do know that the original order with the dealer was for a midnight blue. Settled on the green because I wanted the car NOW!!!!

OK my turn. I like red but since I work for a company that makes fire trucks....RED, well not on my car too!! White is all colors, but I have not been in the right light or squinted the right way to see all the other colors...to much effort for me. Gray looks like the primer color on the base fire trucks....that ruined it for me. Black is cool... I mean hot! but can't keep it clean enough...I'm really fussy about that kind of thing you know. Green is nice but riminds me to much of the military vehicles we build. So midnite blue was the only color left. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it

As a result, the black car must be the heaviest. And therefore - unfortunately - the slowest. But, it looks the best, which is why I bought my Red Line in that particular color! I reduce weight by going with the Red seats, so at least I am not carrying around the weight of all the red photons on the interior leather. You gotta save weight where you can, you know. Although, to be honest, one less Krispy Kreme per month would probably get me more of a weight saving than red photons. But I like Krispy Kremes better than red photons anyway. I might give up a salad, since those are just gross anyway - and I like them even less than red photons. What was the question again? ![]()

I would actually like to see the blue in person to make a comparison. Now that I have the green, I really love it. I'd only seen pictures of blue.
