"Bra"?

Does anyone know is Saturn making a Bra for our Sky's yet? Or even another company?

There was a Silver SOL behind me yesterday that had one.

Do you mean the old vinyl strap-on bras of the 1980-90's??
If you do -- and want it to protect your paint, you'd best not put it on. Dust and dirt behind/under the bra just scratches the heck out of your pretty paintjob...

If your talking about those old strap on leather/vinyl black strap on bras, when I looked on trying to get one, I found that no one makes any for our Sky's. If I wanted one I would of had to go to a custom shop and have one made--

Besides, when I asked about it here, everyone hammered them as a not a wise thing to do. They DO flap in the wind, and between that and dirt getting underneath and rubbing into the paint acting as sand paper, damaging your paint and finish.

I ended up buying the 3M clear bra instead and do not regret that one bit--

Covercraft

It seems that the one for the Solstice is made by a company called Covercraft.

http://www.covercraft.com/full_mask.htm

However, they do not make one for the Sky. Perhaps they will eventually, but they do not as of now. The Full mask for the Solstice looks like it runs about $90. They are less expensive than the clear bra, but I agree that they are not good for your paint job.

I agree with what others have said here about the clamp on bras...potential hazard to your beautiful SKY. I have the clear protective system installed on my SKY and on my precious and rare 2002 BMW Z8. The Z8 protection system has been on for 5 years...no discoloration and have saved me from rock chips and the ever awful, twice yearly Love Bugs here in FL. Both cars have the protective bra, side rocker panels, door edges, back quater panels and back bumper. Do two searches...one here for other discussions of clear bra installations. Then do a search on goole for...clear car bra...and you will find a wealth of information. The key is finding someone in your area who is a good installer. I was lucky to find one here in Sarasota - the Z8 - my Z8 was the second Z8 to get the clear protection system in the US. Then a good installer in Madison, WI where my SKY lives...recommeded by my dealer there. Good luck and enjoy your wonderful sports car...

So the fact that you are thinking about a bra for Sinister must mean you are keeping her. Hooray!

You may have to put on your black leather mid thigh boots with the spike heels and whip Sinister back into shape.

Oh I would say you could fit a medium coke in there, hhhmmm, maybe even a LARGE soda-- It would depend on how BIG the cup is--

You know those CUP holders can be a real pain ... things tend to slip out and all ... maybe we should get everyone to stop using them

I knew there was something I liked about those cup holders but I just couldn't put my finger on it.
