Car covers?

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a quality car cover. I am leaning towards a Noah california car cover in that my Sky sits outside. I have a cover but am looking for an upgrade. Possibly dust proof in that everytime I remove my cover the car is filthy. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Although this topic has been covered (pun intended) many times, it depends weather you want an indoor or indoor cover. For me I chose Covercraft's flannel indoor cover to protect my Sky during the 6 months of winter storage. Works great.

My cover experiences are growing.

I do not have a garage, and my driveway is covered by trees. I must keep car covered basically all the time. Every day the cover collects an assortment of debris that varies by season and even varies by different weeks within the season. Pollen, ants, birds droppings, leaves, and a host of other unknown things. I have a cordless leaf blower and actually have to blow the cover clean every day...and sometimes twice if I go out a second time.

I have a CoverKing Stormproof. It isn't storm proof, but it is a nice fit and rolls very compact. They also say all the protection is in the weave as opposed to coatings. It has sewn cutouts for both side mirrors, the AM/FM antenna (hole with grommet) and the XM/Onstar antenna.

I have a much less expensive import (non custom) that isn't as compact, but does a decent job for the price.

Neither is 100% waterproof.

I use the Stormproof day to day. If it's going to rain, I put the cheap one on top of the Stormproof (Yes, I actually cover my cover with a cover). The combo works great! The Stormproof rear elastic band works nice around the back bumper since it has to ride high until the exhaust cools.

I will use the cheap one for a quick cover when I stop with top down because it fits better with the top down, and I can put it on/off in about 30 seconds.

I will also use the cheap one on the car first when I wash the Stormproof so I can dry Stormproof on the car.

Oh, and I have a 50 gallon plastic trash drum that I use to store the covers when not in use. I also use it to wash the covers.

Sounds like you got all the bases covered.

Don't mind me, I'll be better after a good nights sleep.

Weathersheild from Kappasphere works quite nice as well. That is what I use to cover my baby while I'm driving the Jeep during the week. Very nice fit and high quality of materials. Highly recommended.
