car got towed !!!

so tonight my car got towed, when i went to pick it up i could not see if there was any damage to the car because it was dark. on the paper work it says the car was "hoist towed" im guessing it was lifted from the back because in the lot it was parked forward in a spot near a fence. my question is is it possible that my car was damaged? the car had the e brake on and was in first.

thanks guys in advance

I'd say it was very likely damaged on the front lip. Having the ebrake on might have caused some problems too. Do you know how far they towed it?

I would definetly be pissed about the damage (if there is any) and would pursue getting the company to fix it. I don't know the legal obligations of a tow company if they damage cars during tow but I'm sure they have some obligations there.

As for parking in a tow zone or area that could get towed, well I guess that's on you.

Hope it turns out ok.

Probably used a dolly. I would look it over very close, it would be very easy to damage the front of the car lifting it with a winch.

A tow company is responsible for PROPERLY towing a vehicle. The SKY is not designed to be towed with any wheel on the ground.

had mine towed the other night and they used a rolback.

the tow truck driver asked me where I wanted him to put the hooks to pull it up on the bed. I was quite surprised
