Car Show Results & Canada

Well, I was at a car show today with only about 18 cars total. They didn't have 1st - 3rd... but just Best of's... Best GM, Best Ford, Best Mopar, Best Other, Best Paint, Oldest Car, Best of Show and People's Choice...

I was fairly confident that I would get People's Choice. I mean there was non-stop talk around my car. Then, during the awards, I thought I may get Best of Show.

For some reason I am at a loss for what Best GM was. Best Ford was a Fairlane 500, Best Mopar was a Gold Duster, Best Other was a 1956 Metropolitan, Best Paint was a 2001 Lincoln Town Car Cartier with stock paint, Oldest & People's Choice was a 1922 Model T with paint chips, dents and such... all fine choices and only ones I could have competed for were Best GM, Best Paint and People's Choice.

What irked me though was Best of Show. My car was clean and open. It rained sporadically throughout the day, so I kept putting the top up and down... putting the hood up and down... wiping it down with "the Absorber" ... etc People talked to me non-stop asking questions saying it was awesome, great, best looking car there, etc.

A yellow 2000 Plymouth Prowler won Best of Show. Now, I am not upset that it was a prowler. I dislike that this car was dirty, had lawn clippings all over it, was locked with top up the whole day, hood closed and owner NOWEHERE to be seen.

Anyone have any ideas?!?!? Grrrrr... lol

Now on to the Canada part quickly, I will be up in the Toronto area today, Sunday the 20th. If anyone wants to meet up for a moment or two, let me know via e-mail and I will get you my phone number... or if you give me yours, I can call you.

Ah the Prowler and the Sky...
Perhaps if those judges were these kids from an old post of mine, your Sky would have won for sure!
