And here are the rest

You will notice the nice colors and the water being sprayed. You do not need LSD to go thru the car wash...Skip

The final picture

The owner of GOO GOO car wash has always come over to say hi to me and always comments on the Sky. It does attract attention . I had 3 women come up just to sit in the seats and 4 guys want to talk about Sky. And yall know me and Sky talk, well it took about 2 hours before I got out of there. And you can see that I had no swirls and no bad places. As I have said a car wash has to be picked out very carefully....Skip...

I met a lady yesterday in the grocery store parking lot that was driving a Sol. She said her husband drove their Sol through an automatic car wash and every possible place leaked. She said don't do it. The owners maunual says don't do it. I know you have no problems with your car wash, but I don't want to take that gamble. I know your problems with the lungs and I understand. I'm glad you found a good car wash. I don't know what its like up north at your house, but around here my car is covered with that yellow pine pollen 5 minutes after its washed. I guess you people up north don't have to put up with that.

Gary, my neighbors, god love them, have a silver maple on one side and on the other is a pine tree, a walnut tree, two huge ass maples and I myself have a red bud tree in the front yard. My eyes have been watering for 5 days now and no matter what I take it still gets to me . So heck I just drink some wine and then I do not care anymore. But yes it is just as bad as yall have it down there in the plains...Skip... Its SPRINGTIME and that means Sky time....

I like that car wash because they usre all kinds of colored soap and it looks like a paint board...Skip...And to keep it from leaking I recommend playing the music super loud. It comes the water out...Skip...Yes they have told me that they can hear the music as I go thru the line.... I told them I wanted to share....

What kind of car wash are you going thru?? While I was at our local dealership for my baby's first oil change, they were discussing a client who had taken her Sky through a car wash and it leaked all over the place!!! She was talking about suing and wanting another car, etc., etc. The owner's manual says NOT to go through a car wash... The jet spray is too much for the seals around the top... I only hand wash her myself (I won't even let my husband near her...)

I do not know about the rest of the country, but here in NY there are detail places all over where for about $15-$20. They use a standard hose and Microfibre clothes and about 6 guys to rinse, wash, rinse, then towel dry your ccar by hand. No pressure wash or track on the ground, a true handwash.

I personally will do mine myself since it takes me only 45 minutes. But for someone who is unablle to wash their car, like Skip, look up your local AUTO Detail Shop.

Some Auto Body shops may be able to hook you up with someone that will come to your house!

Looks good, Skip!

I guess I'll have to go to Alabama to find a GOO GOO car wash, though.

I drive my RL in the winter, so I have to use a car wash. I have a towel (micro fiber) in the "backwards glove box" just in case I see a leak. I get all kinds of people telling me not to take it through the car wash, but not a one will wash it by hand for me when it is -15 below zero

Not only do I not take mine to a car wash...but my 99 Mazda 626 does not go through one...even in the winter...this idiot is out there, doing it manually. My neighbors understand my passion....and r u ever satisfied when someone else washes your car...it is never done to your expectations.

We have pollin up here in the Northeast, but it will be a little while longer for us. Even if the car could go through a car wash, I prefer a hand wash. The recycled water of the car wash has grit from other cars and can never do as good a job as a person. But I understand some people have little choice.

They take my Midnight Blue through the car wash every time I go to my Saturn dealer for service. No leaks, and it looks great after they're done.

My Sky leaks when it rains...so I'm certainly not going to run it through a high pressure car wash. But I am jealous of those who can.

You make a great point...that recycled water always leaves a film on your windows which become cloudy as you drive away...even there window cleaner cannot remove it.

Aaaiieee! My little Raven is quaking in fear at me taking her through a car wash. Good for you if you have the guts to do it, but I handwash her once a week...I have to say, the splash guards didn't wow me with their looks (if I didn't have a black Sky I wouldn't have bought them) but they sure do work!
