Actually the trim piece snaps off and you can paint it any color you wish

Are you talking about the trim pieces around the buttons? If so, I already painted them black . In the picture I was replying too his steering wheel itself is two tone .

didnt read all the posts but i think you can remove that side cup holder by opening it and removing one screw inside from the outside, without removing the whole center consol.
