The Clear Bra Installation (Part II)
Well the Redline is at the shop getting the "new and improved" clear bra Kit installed......AGAIN...
....My man Gene assured me that this is going to be a better fit than the last "Venture Shield" Kit that was installed. Apparently we are using the "Venture Shield" film but with a different design software to cut it. He showed me the pattern and if it comes out like he showed me, I will be very happy saw the light and realized that there ARE subtle differences between the base and the redline that need to be considered. We will have to see how this one looks..........more to follow

Had mine done on Thursday, front and sides, Ventureshield. I had ordered the sides pieces from Kappa but it turned out that they sent me two right hand sides. My installer used the extra piece for a templet for the left side. Everything looks perfect, can not see it on the front.
Three different paterns show up when the Ventureshield installer looks for available templetes. We chose the top one that had more pieces but was easier to install. The bumper is in two pieces instead of one large one. My guy did a great job and you can not hardly see the seam unless you are a foot away. Will see how it holds up but so far it is a perfect installation. Total cost $435

Well it's finally done....
....Looks WAY better this time than the last attempt. It turns out though that Gene (my installer) tried with a second venture kit pattern, didn't like it and went to ANOTHER pattern. Much more coverage. I think in time as more and more people attempt these cars the patterns will improve. I never really noticed before how many little curves and angles are in the front end of this vehicle. It really makes a clean, tight fit a difficult task to perform for sure. My hat is off to Gene and a big thanks for all his efforts!!
