Control Panel Menu? - Pics?

File this under... little things I didnt know about the sky..

I was re-reading posts about the oil change indicator in the sky (which I hadnt known about untill reading on these forums a few weeks back)... anyway, someone was describing how to reset oil change to zero, and described a control panel display, with menu system..

Its the first I've heard of an interactive control panel.
What are some of the things that can be changed with this menu?
How do you access it?
How do you cycle through the options?
Does someone have a pic of what this looks like in the car?

I've been a basic driver all my life... Minivans and sedans that seem to have been made only for rental fleets (ex: dodge stratus). I've never had electronic anything... so this small thing just adds to the excitment for me of getting a Sky!!

EDIT: Ahh... I see it is called the DIC. Driver information Center... still would like more info on it, as described in my questions above.

Thanks!

Read the Manual

I got my manual out and read it. Instructions on how to read the menu and use the buttons on the steering wheel. Also, don't for get to turn the Spped compunsator voulme ON on your Monsoon radio. This feature allows the volume to increase as you go faster automatically. My older Pontiac has one and it comes from the factory set to ON. There are 3 settings - low, med, hi. Keeps you from having to increase volume on radio while driving. Instructions in manual under SCV section of the radio controls.

As I used to write policy/procedures for work - I always told my employees - Read the Manual.

But poor Ahnuld doesn't have a manual to read. He's waiting for his car and just wants to get a jumpstart on info.

manuals

Hey all,
So Ahnuld is still waiting for your car. When you get it, drive on over to Toms River or Marlboro and have lunch with the guys here, 4 SKY GUYS. Let me say this - I have learned a lot also from the forums over the past 2 months. Little things not in the manuals. Hope you get your SKY before the first snowfall.

There is a rotate on Adobe that allows you to read it properly

I think you are mispronouncing that word. The "I" is long, as in "wine."

Does that explain it?

I think its the C that is being mispronounced. Here is an example of how it would be used in a sentence. DIc here Sky is a she.

I think the speed-compensated volume is only available with the stereo system upgrades, not with the base system. It works great, though...it let's you select between low-medium-high volume differences.

A was wondering if it was working but now that I have the roof on a few times I can hear the difference. Driving topless - I play the radio LOUD anyway and don't hear the diff that much
