Convertible Top Wing

Did you know you can drive the car with the passenger wing up? As in not locked down. Did it by accident yesterday, and it is very noisy. At other times when the trunk or latch were not tight it gave me a warning, so I am guessing the passenger side doesn't have a switch on it for the sensor. Don't think it hurts anything, aside from the eardrums.

drove like that for about 3 months when i was rearended. I was driving it waiting on parts to come in. You get used to the noise after a while and when i had it fixed i couldn't believe the difference of the noise level

OMG man. I think we need to change your name to The Road Warrior. Your roadster has been thru so much in its life. Missing pieces (hood vent, buttrice reciever chrome), having pieces taken off and modified (center console, badges, etc.), and just thrashed on in general. You are killin' me bro.

I love this car we have been through sooo much it is all coming back together now. New parts come available every day. Soon nothing will be missing on it.

You sure can - makes quite a racket though, like you said. After the first time they were adjusted my top, after you had been on the road for a few miles, the passenger-side buttress would pop up randomly. The first time it did it, I was like, what the HELL did they do to the top?

Went right back in and they worked on it. It's not as quiet as it was from the factory, but it doesn't have a random passenger-side salute anymore.
