corvette's are so much better

Hi Everyone,

It's been a while since I've been on this board...I had one of the first Sky's when they came out in 06. Last month I bought a new Corvette, it is unbelievable. The lines of the Sky are very similiar to the vette though on a smaller scale but the power, the quality and the luxury of the interior are so much better in a vette. I had never even been in one before I bought my Sky so I wanted to tell those of you that are in love with your cars now, try a vette, you will be blown away. There is better...give it a shot. I didn't know what I was missing until now.

Before you rant, give it a shot, then sell your sky's or give them to your grandmothers and drive a real car.

sorry you feel that way!! good luck with your new car tho, i'm sure they are reeally nice, i just see more corvettes in a day than civics, i wouldnt bash a sky because you found another car that suits you.. i see much more ptential in a corvette powered sky than a corvette, to each their own, i gotta go call my grandFATHER and see if he likes his vette

Sorry but i don't think it's proper to post in a skyForum that vettes are better than skys, what do you expect us to say?that you're right?Or do you expect us to follow your example? I wouldn't change my car with a vette for nothing, i find it very silly to pay tax for a 6000 litre car that only makes 400 horsepower, i rather pay 5000 more to give mine the same performance....
Anyway, enjoy your vette, it's a really nice car and may you have many safe and exciting miles....

I like the vette and all, but I would much rather have a Sky. I don't need luxury or any of that stuff. I just want something that's going to perform and have a lot of potential. Not to mention, actually affordable for me. If I were to get a Corvette, it would be the top model. I don't want one just for the name. So it will be a long time before I can afford that. I would want to wait a few years anyways. I think there will be a radically changed vette coming. I also feel that it will blow the current vettes out of the water, along with a lot of other supercars.

It should have more power and a nicer interior: It costs twice as much. But the convertible vette looks like garbage- the lines are all goofed up. I'll stick with my Red Line; there isn't a car under $100k that looks better, top up or down. The performance and MPG are a bonus and I've come to *like* the manual top.

If you haven't figured it out by now, no one cares about your corvette. It may be hard to believe, but it's true.

I don't know why you find it necessary to try to piss everyone off over here, but you should grow up or just go jerk off to your vette a little more. As long as we don't have to hear your comments, I think everything will be fine.

I bet that vette gets you all the ladies. Cause you obviously wouldn't be able to do it with your personality alone.

Sorry Guys, this was all written by my 15 year old nephew who is staying with me this weekend. I have this site bookmarked and I guess he likes to start trouble. I just got on my machine and saw this thread up, he will no longer be allowed to use my PC again and I sent a copy to his Mother. No hard feelings I hope and for what it's worth, I absolutely loved my SKY and think they are great cars. Now to see what other trouble he caused.

I love corvettes especially the C6 ZO6 but i love my sky and respect it for what it is and how much fun and how rare it is. at this stage of my life i wouldn't trade it for anything.
