How many wranglers are sold each year vs. sky's? They can lower the cost because there is a larger target audience to sell too.

dlight- what are the offsets of your rear wheels on the Sol? I'm also mildly interested in the top when I see one finished.

But most Wrangler Hard Tops are in the $1500 - $2500 category.

I think Up to $2500 would be a fair price.

I would spend 3000.00 if I had to , my wranglers top is a Fiber Glass 2 piece insulated and had the same connecting piece to the wind shield as my soft top .

Since a couple of folk have asked, easier to just respond to all who may wonder, here in-thread. While forum rules say you need to be a supporting vendor to sell items at skyroadster, folks are not only allowed, but encouraged, to gauge interest in a potential product first. If it turns out that there's enough interest for sales on the forum, then we do require the seller to become a vendor.

i know the owner of the shop doesnt come on the forums but i am sure if people post up there interests on this hard top that they would become a skyroadster.com sponsor. I am downloading the photos right now so i will have them posted up with in the next hour or so.

"cerberus" if you could message me the info i would have to give them to become a vendor. i would pass it along to them. if there becomes an interest in these tops.

How much does it weight? Is there a headliner? Can you take a pic of the inside of top? How is the road noise in comparison? I ask that because if there is no insulation or headliner it might actually be noisier than the soft top.

Fitment looks great, although I am not personally a fan of the style it does look like a good, tight fit. Obviously painted body color or a complementary color is gonna look better than primer gray.

As far as road noise w/o a headliner, I am of the opinion that if you're driving in an event that requires you to have a hard top, it's going to be radio off, tires screaming driving anyway, and you're going to want every last bit of road noise to make it to you.

yes there is a headliner but it is more for looks. it is a center peice that can be wrapped in whatever material your interior color is.
as for weight that is still the prototype so we do not have weight #'s yet.
and for road noise not sure until we have the actual final top on the car.
And i think it gives you some more head room inside.

To me, the back is too long and it doesnt look right.
I would prefer if it was the same exact size as the soft top.

Good opportunity for windrestrictor to work with you on the rear window for it!

well i had this top made for "ME" and i love the look. i think it would look rediculous if it was as small as the soft top.

I just posted some pics to help out anyone that is looking for a different style hard top.

Sorry
I wasnt meant to be hating. I just really like the stock size, but that's because I am the same size as Hammond from Top Gear.
My opinion doesn't matter because it is yours. If you like it, then that's what counts.

this top is only a few inch's longer. it uses the stock locking pins to hold the back down. it just swoops down smoother than the factory soft top. the factory top kinda just stops and goes down.
this top flows right in line with the humps on the back deck lid. the top stops short and then flows into the humps. this pic kinda shows the flow.

A little less length to the rear fins. so you can still see the love humps, and no fins on top and I'd be game.

the top air fins is an easy option to remove upon request. that just requires a quick cover in the mold and your fins are gone. but the rear swing of the top flows in with the humps so i dont see them changing that.
this top helps the aero dynamics of the car, and improves head space in the cockpit.
we drift our car so those are a huge plus
