Does anybody have any information about installing an after market DVD/CD player with a screen. What works and what doesnt?

Any double din head unit will work. As for playing dvds, you'll need to bypass it if available depending on the unit. I've got the AVIC-Z2 and bypassed it so it plays dvds while driving and you can manipulate the navigations functions without having to pull over.

I got the Eclipse AVN5510 since last October, works great. Got 2 drives, 1 dvd and 1 cd that plays mp3s. The dvd playey holds the navi disc so just take it out and put in whatever movie you want and it will work while in drive.
