De-Badging Experiences

Has anyone had a bad experience with de-badging? I am getting a fiberglass valance from Norms Fiberglass next week and it will look even hotter if I debadge the silver lettering on the back of the car. I understand the process of debadging but has anyone ever run into problems with the paint coming off during debadging?

I hope to transform it as below

No problems at all, It's just double sided tape. I removed the Saturn logo and put the Redline logo in the center.

Echoing this - it's just double-stick tape, so no worries as long as you're gentle.

Actually, I really like that idea. Very clever. I wonder if someone could produce a badge with dimensions that would fit that entire square? It's just shiny plastic.

I read on some forum (cannot find it now) that someone took off the GM chicklets and there was a hole in the fender behind each chicklet.

That's bizarre - I've taken off all but the letter badging on the Sky and it's all been fine, and everyone's experiences I've read thus far on here have been similar. I wonder if that wasn't previous to the de-badging (road damage, improper lifting, factory defect) and only was visible when the chicklets were removed.
