Dealer has NO WAITING LIST for base SKYs

Many people try and post this information to 'help', but this inadvertantly advertises for the dealership listing the vehicle (whether intended or not). We don't want the site to be cluttered with advertisements, nor do we want to allow dealers to abuse the Private Message system by promoting their stock without becoming a supporting dealer/vendor. I just wanted everybody here on the forums to know that our salesperson told us last night that they have exhausted their waiting list for people wanting base SKYs (apparently there are 8-10 on the list for Redlines).

So, they actually have TWO Forest Green SKYs (both Manual, Black/Tan interior) sitting on the showroom floor from customers that backed out. Those are both marked at MSRP (I believe). This has been a great dealer to work through, and we have been very happy working with them. My wife's SKY Redline has been on order with them since May, and they've done a great job of keeping us informed (even though I usually know the news already from sites like this ). They have promised MSRP prices from the very beginning with no mandatory add-ons or anything like that (we just bought a VUE there and the only thing they made us add-on were the mud flaps, because they were already on the car). They have been very willing to let us order exactly what we want.

So, if you're looking for a base model SKY, look up < non-supporting dealer information removed by moderator > and give them a ring.

(I do not work for this dealer in any way, and am not trying to give them any sort of special attention beyond what I feel they deserve anyway for doing such a great job.)

Ahh...sorry.

I wondered if this would be the case. Like I said at the bottom of my post, I don't work for this dealer, I just know they've been really good to us. And I figured since there are always people coming on the forums here wanting to know how long the wait would be for a regular SKY, that I would let people know they could come here (if it's convenient for them) and not have to wait.
