Dual Horn Photos

I installed a Fiam high-tone horn on SPIRIT a while back, and never posted photos of the mount. So here they are...

The factory horn mounts on the passenger side. The add-on horn goes in the same spot on the driver side. I just spliced into the wires for the factory horn and ran them across the front to the other side for the high-tone horn. It looks perfectly balanced, and it sounds great! (I might be upgrading to the Opel horn to sound a little more European - I have to see how that sounds first.)

The photos below show the factory horn on the left, and the add-on horn on the right. Also shown is the product card from the package showing the exact model that I installed...

So this is a win all the way around... better tone, twice as loud, looks great, and easy to do!

HA! I thought you added one from the looking at the Opel grill swap. Did you add a relay for the horn set? Are they the 130dB horns?

I ordered the very same Fiam Freeway Blaster high-tone horn and Hubby installed it for me a couple of weeks ago.
He did a really good job and now my Saffy no longer sounds like a kiddie car.

The fact sheet says this is a 132db horn. I did not add a relay - just spliced into the existing wires.

Did the same thing...installed the hi/lo Fiamm 132db Freeway Blasters, but put them on the same side as the stock horn:

In case the pic doesn't show, here's the link:

Horns2a - SaturnFans Photo Forums

Just remember to install them with the flutes pointing down, so water doesn't get trapped inside. No relay needed, just spliced into the existing horn wire, and hooked it up to both horns. It's a tight fit, but as the pic shows, it can be done.

I installed mine on the same side also. Put both horns on with the same bolt that held the original horn.

bronzestarsky - Did you need any special brackets or clamps? MY Batsky's tooter died recently. Probably something to do with some recent storms and high water on the XWay.
