MY NEW RULES !! Seeing some of you are getting your cars and not letting me know and I'm WAISTING my Time and Dealers Time there will be a new rule !!! If I don't get a response from you in a post or PM by the following Wednesday you WILL come OFF the list. I don't enjoy waisting my time. Thanks for understanding.

If you get updates or event codes from your Dealerships, please let me know. The list is very long and I want to help those who can't get updates not just because you don't want to bother.

THANKS TO LEDSERK AND MSBEARASLY... The subway card and Dunkin Donut card was greatly appreciated. But I told you guy's I didn't want anything......Kathy

Anyone who wants my Dealers name and address so they can maybe send a Thank you and maybe a Dunkin Donut card or something please see below. It takes him a long time to do this and he doesn't have to.

********I would recomend that if you have been at 1100 or 1102 or 2051 for awhile you should contact your dealer and check on what number in line you are and how many allocations they get a month usually. You might want to put in another order some where else.*********

My dealer (who seems a bit out of the loop) says "well, it could be tomorrow...it could be another week...or two."

Do you have a better guess ? If I understand this correctly, it looks like it left Chicago last Friday. Shouldn't it be in Dallas by now ?

It left Chicago last friday. I would say maybe 1 1/2 weeks the longest from Chicago to Texas. ( It could be earlier. And Thanks for the Dunkin Donut card. It wasn't neccesary for me but it is appreciated. So that would mean most likely by Wednesday or earlier. If You can get the rail car number we could track it. Your general manager would have to call DBC ( Dealer Buiness center ) and get the rail car number it starts with ETT. Kathy

Yeah, I don't see that happening with my dealer. He didn't even really understand how allocations worked. All along I've been giving him more info than he's been giving me. He seems like a decent guy and all, just uninformed.

Hopefully I'll have the car before your next update...

I know exactly how you feel. I sold my old GPz 1100 many moons ago when my own psychosis led me into too many brushes with death, and bought the Harley because it was nice looking but comparitively slow. Now, years later, the Harley is no longer even close to stock, no longer slow, and I have a wife and two kids to worry about. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like people drive worse than ever these days.

I'd guess Vegas and Phoenix are about the same as far as tourists and blue-hairs go, and rush hour traffic is almost as bad as NY used to be. It's gotten so that riding in the city is almost unpleasant at most times. In addition, every time I'm out, I worry more about my wife and kids attending my funeral than I do about enjoying the ride. Has made it less fun than it used to be. And the wife won't ride with me anymore since we had kids, doesn't want us both killed at the same time.

I'm hoping the Sky will give us the chance to do "just the two of us" stuff again in a more cozy way, like the bike used to, without the "looming death" issues. Guess we'll find out in the next 2-3 months, eh?

Well, around here it seems like it's the motorcyclists that are the bad drivers.

About once a week on my ride home, I'll have someone on a sportbike zoom by me doing 110mph, between lanes. And this is not with stopped traffic, it's with me and the car next to me doing 70+.

A couple of weeks ago, one guy was doing what had to be over 100 while sweeping back and forth across the highway and passing using both shoulders. One day I'm going to make a lane change and accidentally kill some rider that I didn't even see coming.

About once a week on my ride home, I'll have someone on a sportbike zoom by me doing 110mph, between lanes. And this is not with stopped traffic, it's with me and the car next to me doing 70+. A couple of weeks ago, one guy was doing what had to be over 100 while sweeping back and forth across the highway and passing using both shoulders.
