No confirming "beep" that the toll has been successfully paid. But no battery to run down or replace.

Tampa Tribune ran a story a week or so ago about quite a few people having problems with the mini. Getting nice notifications in the mail with "please pay these fines". And they were able to prove they had the mini "installed" correctly.

Yea, I'm not surprised. I think I'll stay with my "bulky" old timer, I like the window and the 3 colored lights and the BEEP!! when i go thru that it sensed me.. I also like the fact that I can physically see my balance on mine instantly without having to go online.. I still think its the best one they have made.. My problem is getting the velcro to stick.., I think I'm gonna switch over to some "super lock"..

I do... actually I have had the thing in the little section between the seats & it's worked. I don't have mine mounted, I usually just keep it in the passenger seat it works fine from there.
