GM Bailout was Denied!

So whatever that means. They were denied they have a good possibilty of failing.

Maybe they will be bought out by Kia?

My understanding is they were simple denied the funds they wanted to buyout Chrysler with.

Correct. Treasury denied funds to merge with Chrysler.

Good. I've had enough of 'Capitalism on the way up, socialism on the way down."

I don't want to see GM go away, and I'm exceedingly tired of spending billions to bailout giant corporations (remember the airline bailouts after 9/11?).

You can't have it both ways: Low taxes, low oversight in good times, then taxpayer funded freebies when times are tough.

At least the SKY would have an optional automatic top. That should make the reviewers at Forbes happy.

I wouldn't give them any govt money unless they agreed to bring back all production that's been outsourced overseas or south of the border.
