Golf anyone?????

I went to play golf today, got a front row parking spot at a pretty nice golf course. What I didn't notice was that it was very close to the third green. The good news is I shot an 80 today, the bad news is I got a golf ball put through my windshield!!!!! I went to the pro shop to see what could be done and got no responce. Who ever did it didn't do anything about it either, so I get to buy a new windshield!!! I called and left a message with the insurance company (closed for the weekend) at least my deductible is only $50.00 dollars!! I'll post pictures as soon as I can figure out how to get them on here!! Later Buckeyenuts

They probably yelled FORE when it headed into the parking lot.

I hope the new windshield repair goes in smoothly.

Shot an 80? No big deal... I do that on 9 holes regularly.

Yea so much for being a sport where you call a penalty on yourself but can't leave a note on the windshield that you crack in the parking lot? ...

Sorry to hear about your windshield. When parking at a golf course we always take into consideration the possibility of ball hitting our car and parked as far away as possible from a green.

I guess who ever hit your car never went to retreive their errant shot..I hope they took a drop for it....the jerk.......

Before Computers, Golf produced the original Hacker.

Sorry about the windsheild. That realy sucks. Expensive to fix, but less intrusive than the middle of the hood.

Homes in a local neighborhood on a golf course get hit constantly. The home owners have put in high impact glass on their windows. Some have started putting up safety nets so they can go outside during the day. The home owner association and city were fighting with the owners to make them take down the nets because the were unattractive. They must not play golf. Maybe if the assoc. and city board had to be hit by a ball, they may reconsider.

Exactly! One can yell Fore, but can't tell anyone you hit a car?!? Doesn't seem right. Plus you'd think they'd make the parking so you couldn't park right by a green like that.

In Florida if your windshield is cracked or broken and impairs the drivers vision it's a $0.00 deductible. Guess they have too many golf course accidents down here.

That Sucks, the guy that did it might not have even realized he did damage. As long as insurance covers it.

And trust me, BE PRESENT WHEN THEY DO THE WORK, some of those guys are sloppy and do more damage!

Oh well I guess that is "par for the course" as they say!

no doubt. had my windshield replaced on my hummer due to a crack that spread during the Chicago winter and when I drove it in rain, the water leaked down the middle of the glass. Talk about annoying!
