Grrrr Arent Bumpers supposed to be attached
The last time I hit a bumper, it was actually attached to the car
Welp, barely 2 months after picking up my sky, I hit a bumper on I-95 going through Philadelphia. It was just in the middle of the lane. Grrrrr The car in front of me switched lanes very late and I didn't have the luxury as I had a car on either side, so I drifted as far right as possible and ran over it with the driver side tires. It smacked the front bumper from underneath and put some like gouges in the bumper. Some sanding and touchup paint should fix those. They really aren't bad. Considering PA roads, I have to realize, that area of the bumper is going to be hard to keep 100% scratch free so I was contemplating painting the lower portion black instead of repainting it white The stupid thing is, it ripped a 4" gash in the fender well where it attached to the front bumper. The question becomes, Should I just crazy glue that area, or turn this over to insurance and have the wheel well replaced and the front bumper removed and repainted? I am leaning towards some home repairs as the likely hood of this part of the car receiving more minor scrapes and bumps in the future is high.

Ok, I am going to have to shop around.
It's really easy to replace, so I only need the part. I am going to do some photoshop work to see if I like having the lower part of the bumper black. if not, I'll do the work myself and repaint it white. Should be easy as the car is so new there is no fade yet and white doesn't really fade anyway. It's funny. On my Jeep, I have a scrapes and dents and all sorts of trail damage. it's considered badges On the sky it's the opposite, but at least it doesn't upset me as much as it might someone else Thanks for the reply. You made my night.
