Help!!! Broke pillar :(

I read somewhere that it just pops off. So i pulled and pulled and cracked the plastic

I got some new aftermarket speakers, i got the ones in the door with no problemo...but replacing the tweeters is most difficult. Can someone post pics/step for removing the pillar containing the tweeter??

While having half a pillar makes installing the tweeter super easy i would like to NOT break the driver side pillar. Any thoughts?

In a nutshell, yes, it DOES just pop off. It's best to ease it off evenly though from top to bottom - preferably levering from the inside with panel-poppers (or broad flat screwdriver). You must have just yanked too hard and fast at one end to have cracked it. Or a previous owner had glued it in (Aggh!)

Only owner, and yea it was too hard too fast, and apparently you have to take the visors off 1st nothing some super glue cant fix. My new sound system sounds amazing well worth it.
