Hood release locator...velco.

I got tired of fumbling under the dash for the hood release lever, so I stuck the fuzzy portion of a velcro strip onto the lower end of the lever. That lets my fingers do less walking, while searching for that hidden release.

The Sky's not any hotter, but I'm a bit less frustrated, and the price ain't bad

What a great idea!
I hated looking/fumbling for that hood release and looking like a silly "girl" around the guys...
Thanks...this will save face! HA!

I'm glad someone posted this, I just love the graphic of the arrow by the door... Sometimes it can take a minute or two to find that damn thing, the first time I opened the hood my friend Joanne was watching me and was doing thisHow embarrassing as I will need to show off my new Hood liner mural

You think you have the location of that darn hood release down pat and then all of a sudden you can't find it. How annoying!!!!!

Great idea! I will do just as you have suggested right now. Thanks

Glad I did this. It has come in handy every time I open the hood. Oh by the way here is my new ram air hood from RKSport.

SKYHIGH007 That's a Very good Idea, thanks for sharing...
I almost yanked the dash off thinking it was the release lever to open the hood...

nope...no beeper, it's one of them (small) stick-on adhesive bathroom hooks with many other uses, available at most stores (household aisle), most are white but the black one blends in well under the dash.

wife bought a two-pack for an oven mitt so I made good use with the xtra one, me thinks the same battery location designers must've came up with the hood latch location too
