Reason: update
NOOOO! Don't wait 'til Friday!! It's only 36 miles from you?? Go now! Camp out there if you have to! If you love the color that much...Go!!! If you can drive at all you can drive an automatic!
SC???
I don't want to throw anything on mine. It might damage it!
took me a minute Super charger, well if I'm gonna do that why don't I just Mallett it.. DROOL is that even available anymore... (although I would have to go all out with the 100K version 6 speed. oh my I think me from thirty years from now is wanting to kick my butt for going broke before I'm 35...)
I prefer an auto so I don't have to keep shifting in traffic. Plus you don't have to replace clutches. Also, according to the stats, an auto will beat a standard.

Bingo!
Maybe it's 'not as much fun' in the twisties... I do like downshifting.
But overall, I don't miss all that work, especially in city traffic. And no worries about the big Robeks knocking over, with all that movement. I'm exhausted just thinking about it.
However... I can't fathom how the OP doesn't 'know how to drive' an auto.
Keep us posted SkyForChrist! Anxious to know if you have been to see this car yet! You probably should be prepared to buy when you go 'cause once you see it...I think you are going to fall in love.
The suspense is killing me!
I think that was a veiled statement that he really prefers a manual.
Albeit, back in the day when I drove a manual almost every day...and found myself in an automatic making a panic stop, I did "instinctively" pounded the floorboard with my left foot. I guess that would qualify as not knowing how to drive an automatic...for a moment.

This is correct. I currently drive an Auto but prefer a manual. I always joke I that I don't know how to drive an auto.
But as Bogie states for those that prefer manuals you know you've done this. used your left foot to press the "clutch" and end up slamming on the breaks cause there is no clutch.. lol

I actually have never done that in 47 years of mixed auto/manual driving.

I'll definately let you know if I see it, but unfortunately with my work schedule to see it in the daylight I have to wait until friday and I've read you can't enjoy the Hydro blue color without daylight. But if it sells ahead of time its ok. I gotta have a redline and gotta have a manual. 2 requirements. Even if I love the color I gotta have a Manual.
