Waiting on the seller to get back to me about something. and I want to see how much I like the color since I've never seen Hydro blue before.
I'm loving SFC for my nick I've wondered what I'd do if I got a personal plate as Sky4Christ wont fit I thought Sky4Chr but most things won't fit so I may do S4C or SFC if I do a personal plate.

Reason: added info
Its still kinda on, but I do want to see the color (haven't paid for the car yet..)
Ah, that makes sense.
The Hydro Blue definitely pops in the sunlight.
What is weird is the Ruby Red seems to pop more in the partial sunlight.
I like both colors a lot, but it is interesting how the two different colors react differently with sunlight, when they both have about the same amount of metallic in the paint.

Okay...SFC, I guess I have to accept that you are not going to be able to go until Friday. ...and that you are going to wait for a manual Redline. I think I'd be tempted to trade my beloved Polar White for this beautiful blue if I was within 36 miles of it as you are and if it's really as nice as it appears online. (Looks fantastic!) I'm in the east, not too far from the other blue you've been looking at ... the manual Redline.
I just hope this automatic doesn't sell before you get there to at least look at it on Friday!

hey we could just buy eachothers Sky's and meet up half way and trade when we get there (2 hydro blues in the same place? how often does that happen?)

Funny thing is when I asked the seller if it had metallic flake in it she said no but from what I've read on here it does... so I do want to see the color if it does have metallic flake as everyone on here says (and I trust more than the seller) than I will be a happy man to have one.

That would be wild.
It would be nice if the seller would offer to deliver it to you. But if you're like most people you're wanting to drive it and check it out before actually closing the deal.

You should be able to run the VIN to verify the color is Hydro Blue, before you go to see it.
There is a flat blue that they made, which was about the same color as the Hydro, but no metal flake. I think they called it Sky Blue, but could be remembering it wrong.
The one thing I know for sure is the Hydro Blue has a butt load of metal flake in it. And anyone should be able to see that. So my bet is she really doesn't have a Hydro. Or she never drove it in the daytime.
Edit: Just found the other Blue I was thinking of. It is called "Evening Blue". That is a flat blue with no metallic. It is darker than I remembered, definitely darker than the Hydro Blue, but not near as dark as the "Midnight Blue" that they made which was also a flat color.

There is a flat midnight blue?
... looking at pictures, it looks like most 2007 paint colors are flat.
My 08 midnight blue redline is metallic... or am I imagining it having metal flake.... man getting old sucks can't remember jack.

Actually, Midnight Blue, a 07-08 color has wonderful metallic, it is just very dark! Just get some light on it and it really pops! The 09 Evening Blue is also dark but flat. The Hydro Blue SE color is a lighter blue with metallic that is closer to the 07-08 Bluestone color.

I disagree.
Have you driven an auto Sky so that you know what you're talking about? I can drive my auto just as aggressively as a manual. I can shift it if I want but don't have to do it all the time.
I believe an auto or manual is only personal preference - NOT an old man's or a youngster's car. I've had autos in every car I've owned since I was in my early 20s simply because that was my preference.
Do you say the same for an auto Honda, Chevy, Ford, etc or just because it's a sports car?
