Hydro Blue on Ebay

Saw a Hydro Blue posted on Ebay...happened to be near-by in West Chester, PA so we took a "Sky drive" to take a peak...pictures do not do that car justice...very, very pretty blue....could live with out the silver stripe, but nice wheels and the blue stitching on the interior is sweet!!!!! The sticker was $35ish.....if you are in the area it's worth a look!

i'd like the blue stitching for my SKY even its beautiful...weird that it says no warranty... it has 11 miles on it and its an 09, wouldn't it have Saturns 3/36k and 5/100k?

The Hydro Blue is REALLY NICE. A local ordered one and the dealership gave me a call so I could take a look. Pictures definitely do not catch the heavy metallic/pearl in the paint.

Here is the weird part about the paint, when comparing it to the Ruby Red: They had both cars on the lot. And both seem to have just as much metallic in the paint. But the Ruby Red shows up much better in the shade, looks very brilliant metallic in partial light, cloudy skies, indoor lighting, etc. But when the Ruby Red is in direct full sun light, the metallic is not as noticeable. However the Hydro Blue is the exact opposite. In unnatural light, cloudy skies, etc, the metallic is very subdued. But put that baby in direct full sunlight and it is just crazy brilliant metallic. Somehow the blue works better in the sun and the red works better with indirect lighting.

The ebay auction has a conflict. In the Sellers description section it says that the warranty is existing. I think they used a template and incorrectly added the lower section about the "As Is"

The regular window sticker will detail it has a warranty

You are so right....that Hydro Blue was AMAZING in the sun and when we were shopping for our Sky my hubby liked the Ruby Red but I did not like it in the sun...the one I saw almost looked like an orange/red but in the shade they are really pretty...so what did we do? Got one with no freakin metal flake at all!!!!!

It does look beautiful...however, I learned when I bought a Sunburst Yellow Sky that paint is soooooo expensive. They wanted close to $400 to paint my fender. I wonder how much it would cost to paint the fender of the hydro blue sky?

I found one here in south FLA that I am seriously considering requesting as my lemon law exchange. The only (kind of) downside is the lack of a rear deck spoiler. But I think the uniqueness and limited edition of it out weigh that.

I agree "Blues" rule!

Adding the spoiler after the fact is not a big deal.
I am not sure about the special edition colors but their is a website where you can buy already painted spoilers for a very reasonble price

I've thought about that, but I would hate to have holes drilled and also if it's a special/limited edition, I would hate to alter it from original.
