Looks wonderful and it is still practically brand new with only 2842 miles. It's like money in the bank! It would sell in a heartbeat...after all, these cars get great gas mileage! Just another selling point in addition to the great looks. Right?

Just playing arround with the comp nine site to see the rarity of this car and I have a question for anyone who knows.

According to the site there were 90 cars painted with the
PRIMARY COLOR EXTERIOR, SUPERIOR BLUE MET (02) (22U)

But 89 with
STRIPE COLOR ACCENT, SMOKE (07) (17A)

does that mean there was only 1 sky out there without the stripe? so there were 90 hydro blues?

That's what I believe. 89 SE's and one without the striping or wheels. Don't know if it had the SE Blue stitched seats either. Probably not if it wasn't an SE.

Hey I just got asked about the difference between a Hydro SE or LE? I thought it was one was N/a the other was Turbo but I'm not for sure. anyone know? or are they the same thing?

When I got my 2008 Sky Red Line Carbon Flash SE, I did some research and I believe that the SE Special Edition and LE Limited Edition for the Saturn Sky are not a 100% positive issue. Some are listed on the sticker as an SE and some are listed as a LE. Mine is the 2008 Carbon Flash “SE”. Then I saw a sticker for the 2009 Ruby Red and it was listed as an “LE” It may just be that the Data entry person at GM could not make their mind?

I am pretty sure the "LE" designated cars had one of the "Limited Edition" colors.
(IE: Ruby Red, Carbon Flash & Hydro Blue were all "Limited Edition" Colors)

However: The "SE" designated cars also had the "Appearance Package"
(IE: Rally Stripe and color matched stitching in the seats)

And in true GM form: The "SE" cars DID NOT have spoilers. This is a classic GM trick with their "SE" cars. Inevitably they never seem to have any real "Performance Modification" and often have less standard equipment than their normal production cars.

Our Red Line Hydro Blue Sky was listed on the sticker as LTD ED and has the unique stripe package and the blue stitching on the doors,steering wheel, gear shift boot and seats. So is our's an LE/SE? It didn't have a rear wing when we bought it, I added the custom painted wing (just like the look better with the wing).
The only other difference on the window stickers from the Sol Coupe to the RL Sky was how they defined the suspension. The Coupe says Sport-Tuned and the RL Sky says Performance-Tuned.

My 2008 Carbon Flash RL is listed on the sticker as an SE, but it has titanium colored stiching and titanium leather inserts on the seats and the stearing wheel. The only SE or LE with the color leather inserts. No wing and titanium factory stripes. So still no closure.....Ugggh
