Ignition Cylinder and Housing covered by drivetrain warranty?

I am trying to get an answer on this. I have sent a PM to Matt from GM customer service because I am not getting a clear answer from the dealership and essentially they are saying no.

I had my key seize up in the ignition and they said the entire thing needs replacing which includes the ignition cylinder and housing. This seems like a common problem some people have had and there is a TSB regarding this. I have seen a few threads on this forum that some people have had this done under warranty so I am just trying to gather some information before I have to speak to the dealership about it.

People may have had it replaced under the bumper to bumper warranty, but not under the drivetrain warranty.
