Installing Chromies

I just got my new chromies in the mail but I can't get the old plastic door pulls off? Anyone have an issues getting them off? Should they come off by hand or do I need to use a wrench or something to turn it?

Alison

Just use a pair of pliers and do a gentle twisting motion as you twist off. You can also blow on them with the hot air from a hair dryer to soften them up first.

They are snug, but they will peel right off. It is steel under them, so don't worry about applying force.

the chromies do not screw on...they slide on, that is why they include the glue.

thanks Mike, I know. But one of the chromies I had to actually turn like I was screwing it on..the other one just slid on. I just thought it was weird they put fit on differently.

When's the weather going to get nicer in NJ? I wanted to install my chromies and wind restrictor over spring break (last week), but the weather didn't cooperate. I'm hoping to have them both done before the May 19th plant tour.
