Lambo Doors - adds ten times the WOW factor

My hubby and son installed the lambo doors this weekend. They finished just in time to give her a wash and drive downtown Vancouver to take some awesome pictures. The weather was perfect for it.

This week she goes in for a Hahn III upgrade. Can't wait!

How hard was the install and did you pick them up in Canada?

Hubby says there are more modifications then the instructions call for (the instructions are for a Solstice). Therefore they had to tinker more then expected. He found the fender bracket extremely hard to cut, but they took their time (9 hours) and did a great job.

I ordered the doors from Gravana and they shipped with no problems.

Looks nice, but cutting ..... Not my kind of mod.

By the way be careful, there is a Solstice I saw that had the car at a show with everything open like your picture. A wind came and blew the hood closed and did severe damage to the doors.

If you plan on leaving hood and doors open at a show I would make a nice brace for the hood, maybe a nice chrome shower curtain rod.

Boy your husband (and son) must really love you! Nine hours!

The 'Lambo' doors look great and the pictures (and backgrounds) are beautiful too!

Of course I like Canada and each trip makes me appreciate good neighbors even more.

Thanks for the tip, I would have never thought of that but here by the water we do get a lot of wind. I'll make sure I get a chrome brace of some sort.

As far as the cutting it was little rough but he slept on it and by the time he got up had figured out how he was going to brace everything so it would be as sturdy as the stock fender. Funny thing is neither hubby or son are mechanically inclined but they really did have fun with it and learned a lot...

Yes they do but I think they love the car just as much. And now they have bragging rights that they did it on their own. And of course I win out of the deal, got to love it!

They look great. I love mine too. A heads up is make sure the doors are down before you open the hood. The cool thing about the doors is that you can still get out regular way without swinging the doors up.
