Rick,

I'll add my congratulations as well!
I'm sure it will be a great experience for you.

A real "no brainer" suggestion for them to offer next year is a dual exhaust option for the base Sky. No investment required on their part!

Have fun!

I fell in love with the Sky when I saw the first picture of the concept in it's current form. The only question was how much they would charge for it. I was hoping as a Saturn it would be affordable. I know there are a lot of complaints about the luxuries it doesn't have, but adding them for a few thousand more would have meant I wouldn't have it in my driveway right now.

First off, Congrats Rick! I continue to live vicariously through the folks on here! As for the next part:

The dealers who have lived up to the standards need to be rewarded as well.
I think that you will find that the over-charging dealers have a lot less SKY's to offer, while facilities like mine are rewarded for SKY sales. The more we sell, the more we get allocated.
Cheers,
Jill

Yeah I think this rabid, teeth gnashing, ranting group fits perfectly! So yeah -- I will be asking about real, yet simple improvements, like cup holders that actually hold cups and why did they spend money in putting controls on both doors, that can't be easily reached, when they could put one set on the center console (like they have for years) that can be used by both passengers. Yeah - things like that.
I'll have my handy Razor with a very good camera -- so I will try to take pics of what I can...
Now, I just have to wait... We SKY owners are very good at that
Happy for you and the forum folks. Tell them that The Sky needs to have storage pockets molded into the Bottom portions of the door panels like my Z4. Please pass it along.

That's terrific, Rick. I don't post here that often, but do lurk a lot and know how passionate you are about this product. Best of luck with this role.

Since they'll be asking about the brand in general...

Rick, I'd appreciate you bringing up the fact that Saturn, now a division of General Motors, is still not accepting the GM Card Earnings.

While this wasn't a factor when buying my SKY (it would have been nice though), and I got into the lease of my AURA without needing to use them (again though, would have been a nice option), next summer when I replace my GMC Envoy I will definitely need to use those earnings. Right now the wife and I are going back and forth over which to get -- OUTLOOK or Acadia. If it solely comes down to price, well my GMC dealer will be more than happy to factor in my GM Card Earnings.

Not fair to my excellent Saturn dealership to lose a sale because Corporate doesn't allow a division to accept what almost all of the other divisions do. TIA!

Got my Flights all set

The Travel agent called - my flights are all set (NW airlines for a 1:10 flight! ), so I am getting closer. I am gonna start a thread for questions. I also want to rank the questions so I will post it as a list - please add any question you may have - I'll edit the list. However - when commenting please tell me what is the most important question you'd want asked and then the next important. That info will affect how I put my list together as I am sure I may not get a chance to ask more than 1-2 questions...

Look for the thread later! (What to ask Saturn)
