Miniature Toy Sky?

Has anyone found a miniature toy version of the SKY? I was visiting New Orleans last week and found the Solstice in a specialty store in the French Quarter. I was in a hurry so didn't get a chance to ask or find out what company made it.

Awesome! The one I saw though was about the size of a shoe. I will definitely check it out. Thanks.

Some Saturn dealers have 1/24 scale die-cast Sky models for sale in their "Saturn Stuff" stores.

Yes, I saw those - but the little kid in me wants an actual "toy" to play with

1:24 Scale is about the size of a shoe. What size toy are you looking for?

That's more of a display, right? I'm looking for more of a toy that you can push on the floor. I wish I would have taken note of the manufacturer of the Solstice I saw in New Orleans.

I bought a 1/24 scale model. It is an expensive ($40) die cast toy with wheels that turn, hood and doors that open. You can push it on the floor if you want but you'll have to make the motor sound yourself!
P.S. the box recommends that you be over 8 years old to own it.

This is a limited edition (at least for now) model being sold by some Saturn dealers in their in-showroom stores.

1:24 scale diecast and remote control SKY

Short summary... company made 3000 for Saturn. Were all supposed to go to dealers, but serveral people posted thier dealer had no clue. SaturnAccessories.com had over a hundred and the people here on the board jumped on them quickly. (I got one)

Diecast manufacturer says they will be selling them in the fall... coming to a Walmart near you...

Also available in silver. The black looks better. Start calling Saturn dealers in your area.

The small Hot Wheels type ones at Walgreens are called Speed Wheels. Unfortunately I could not find any Skys around here but I did find a Solstice and the Solstice concept with the hard top. They also have Opel vehicles, but not sure about the GT.

Early June they will be releasing 10000 more of the die cast skys in 4 colors Blue, Silver, Red and Black and are suppose to be 2500 of each color so still a limited edition. All colors are suppose to match the cars colors.

As hard it is to get a 1:24 scale Sky model, I'm hoping that someone someday will make a Sky in 1:32 scale plastic so I can turn it into a slot car. That way, I can 'drive' a Sky any time of the year, in any weather, outside or inside my basement.

Ooooooooh! I like the way you think!

I already bought an XBox 360 and Test Drive Unlimited for that very reason!
