Monsoon 6-CD Changer Help

I have put in 6 CD's. I was hoping that after one played through, the next would start. Not so. The CD starts all over. I have to manually go to the next CD. Is there a setting I am missing?

I do know that RDM works, but runs through all CD's that are loaded.

Thanks for your help.

OK. I'm perplexed. The Delphi website (which manufactures Monsoon radios, I believe) says the 6-disk changer allows "uninterrupted" play.... There must be a way to get it to rollover to the next disk.....

the best way is to use the "Randomizer"

It will not cycle to the next disc on it's own.

Here is the link for Delphi. Saturn and this link state plays one CD or random on all 6. It will not go from CD to CD.

I still like this line: "Provides hours of uninterrupted favorites while traveling." I guess that only applies if you like hearing the same CD over and over again.....

This is UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

I have a 2001 Toyota Corolla with a factory installed 6 disc in-dash CD player and IT automatically goes to the next disc.

So............ a 6 year old, $14,000, economy car has a CD player that WORKS, but a BRAND-NEW, $30,000+ sports car DOESN'T????

WHO ENGINEERED THIS????!!!!!

I have to add a big Amen to this - I am really dissapointed to hear that the upgraded stereo isnt so great. Of course I am spoiled to my current Bose 13 disc changer but sheesh.

OK - I'm missing something here. What's the big deal? Just push the button to go to the next one.

I did the same thing, Rick. You can squeeze a lot of tunes on a CD that way!

It's the PRINCIPLE!!!!

Yes, one can use an MP3, BUT.................

That much money for a 6 disc changer SHOULD buy you one that works like all the others.

Wow, I guess it's true that you can complain about everything. I've owned several multi-CD players, and I've never had one to automatically change from one CD to the next. It takes several seconds to dock one CD and load the next.

I would be incredibly annoyed if I had a 3-4 second gap between songs, and had to listen to the mechanical sounds of changing CD's.

Just push the stupid button when you're bored with the CD. Jeesh.
