My official last posting.

Well the Sky was fun as hell.
I enjoyed every minute of having her, but when we added our Greyhound to the brood, it just sat idle most of the time. Basically I gave in to the wants of the wife, not to mention that I love the dog! Kind of like some of you may feel about those human puppies, though i honestly do not see the attraction.

If any of you are forced to sell your Sky to make your other half happy, remember to always find the middle ground.

She wanted a station wagon, I wanted to go real fast. The compromise ended up being a Volvo V70R.

The back half with the hatch and the flat folding seats is hers, the front half and undercarriage with the 300HP Turbo twin Intercooler 5 Cyl., the AWD, the 3 setting active suspension, six speed steptronic tranny and the leather Racing seats is all mine!

Everyone on this board has always been super, rock on and enjoy the funnest US car ever!

JV

Man, those are sweet! V70Rs, that is- not the man-boobs in your avatar... Where are the pics?

Don't be a stranger. Stick around- even if no one but me wants you to. Y'know, like jayman did!

Congrats on the new car!

Volvo is as safe as a Sky and you have a whole lot more HP so go for it and the plus side is the other half is now happy...Skip....

The V70R is a nice car, for sure.

Now, about the SKY. I did note the 70R's towing capacity is 3300 lbs. So, with the V70R you've got five seats and plenty of luggage space...that will get you to wherever you need to go. The 3300 towing is enough to pull a SKY and a trailer. Use your 70R to get you where you need to be. Then you just unhitch the trailer, roll off the SKY and enjoy life.

Good Choice

Remember the saying, "If mom's happy, everyone's happy"! You will be missed but you can visit any time. Enjoy the new wheels! Your life was better because you had a Sky moment!
Drive safe,
Linda
