need some advice

I just bought a 2007 Saturn sky I love it. But I keep reading and researching the things that are possible with this car. I don't have the turbo version. But I would like to change a few things. Such as new intake, exhaust and tune kit. But what else can I do? Advice..

Welcome to our forum. There are many things you can do to the 2.4L.

you can supercharge it, turbo it, and many of the same non-engine performance upgrades are doable that are avail on the R/L... The sites search advanced function is your friend here.. You can also read up on the forums for performance upgrades, etc, of the many projects 2.4 owners have done over the years..

Or you can just give it to me lol
;-)

There are many things you can do with it if you have deep pockets.
Check out www.malletcars.com and go to conversions. Supercharger up to an LS9 if you wish.
if i was going to do anything and had a serious disposable income I'd be calling them. Lol

The only thing I have modified on my redline is upgrade to 4300k hid low beams from gmroadster.com
(The real hid's not those blue colored blind you on the road bulbs)
It was a nice and easy install.

Hi,
Welcome

The priority of mods is a subject of many conversations on this and the Sol forum.

My personal favorites, in order are
DDM Pro beam to stiffen up the rear suspension
DDM backbone to stiffen up the center of the chassis

For NA cars, there is not a lot to be gained but you can see a few HP gain with an after market tune, and solo of Werks high flow cat.

To get a significant improvement calls for boost. Either a super charger kit or turbo kit. See any of several supporting venders.

There is an old saying...LESS IS MORE. So if u do not want idiot lights to go off on your dash leave the engine alone...if u wanted a faster SKY u would have bought the turbo...but since u did not...and u r clueless of this car...do not touch the engine.

A 2.4 engine was not built as strong as the 2.0. So do not add additional power. It was not meant for it.
