Wanting to change MY 2.0 stock exhaust to after market, Need your input into which is the best sounding ?Dont want it to loud, just a nice sound THANKS
Not sure that I have heard other options outside of videos posted on the web but I am happy with my 3" Magnaflow cat-back. Not much of a change in sound when idling but plenty of growl when accelerating or on the highway. Enough louder so make it so at highway speed with the top down and the radio up I get some audio feedback on what the power train is doing - but not do much as to be an annoying drone. And I have made half a dozen or so 200 mile trips since replacing it and no desire to go back to stock.

I have the Solo Mach with the high flow cat. I get many compliments on the sound. It will change your driving style though. It sounds so nice, you always want to be accelerating.
I just put a solo high flow cat and the 3" magnaflow cat back its not painfuly loud it sounds good but ii havent had a chance to get it out if the garage yet so...... we will have to see
if you put a solo mach shorty car by a magnaflow car, and all other mods are equal, I would be VERY surprised if anyone chooses the magnaflow over the solo kit. Most people go magnaflow due to the price point.

Agree. Heard both, own the Mach and HF CAT (would probably have the Mach Shorty, but too much risk of resonance on a coupe). BTW, if you are of the opinion that the larger diameter does anything for power, I have never been imporessed by the Magnaflow being called a 3" system when it necks down at the flange.

I have this combination and it sounds very nice.
Adding the Solo Cat totally changed the sound into a very nice growl when you get on it, but it does not drone at cruising
It is also extremely quiet unless the car is under load. Reving the engine when it is parked doesnt generate much noise from the exhaust
