I am thinking about getting some neons for the next car show season, it is legal as long as it is parked, IE: Car Show..but in New Jersey, you are not allowed to drive with them...End of Line

Skip...since I asked for my thread to be deleted , i never got back to you on what you said. I would so like to come and visit the south sometime, I love it down there and I would fit in like a glove..End of Line

Sorry for the Hijack!

I think it could look sweet if done right, as in being able to see the light NOT the tube. I hate when you see the tube hanging down, looks like poopookaka. But if you only see a pretty, full glow (aka no dark spots and no tubes) then it can look darn good. I would reccommend looking into the LED lights they have now. Seams to me they are a better alternative (no transformers/ballasts or whatever, super long life, not nearly as fragile as neon) but give the same effect. $0.02

Sky Lights

I did a short Video after I installed LED Underbody lights in my Sky. I took the video with the lights flashing on my Avalanche as well. I would recommend going with LED's vs Neon.

Hopefully for a car show, because rolling around on the streets with a lit underbody kit will get your more flashing lights almost anywhere in the ol' US of A then you'd probably want to see. FYI.

I was considering hooking up some to our safety lights that come on when you hit the alarm. (you know the lights that help you find your car at night)

It would also help see the ground around car if it was dark. Not so sure about running with them though. Maybe for shows like Steve said.

I installed the green neon underbody and it looks awesome. Unfortunately I don't have any pics, I will try to get some and post them soon.

Look up ICELED on google, it doesn't get better than those, end of story

Although I have to agree with cfjara, this is NOT (imho) for the Sky. I have a Grand Am (you know, for those winter months) that I put these on myself, but I wouldn't even DREAM about doing it to the sky.

I didn't want to say it man... I do not judge on the way people try and trick their car out anymore. I've seen those little window washer lights on a BMW before but I personally do not think it is a way to improve a BMW just like I don't think an underbody kit is really a way to improve the Sky. I've seen spinning rims on US $50K cars - again, whatever blows your hair back... there will be a certain market for everything on any vehicle made.
