Whether you like it or not, as a whole, it flows very nicely. I love the color, the fit and finish and the way all the parts fit together.

My observation is that if G O D himself came down and posted on the forum, 10% would have negative comments. Some people would turn to stone if they had to say something nice or heaven forbid just remain silent rather than pass up an opportunity to go negative. Personally, when people are always very positive or always very negative, over time they lose their credibility with me and it just begins to look like an act.

Norm does great work and the car is very attractive. It is a radical departure from the out the door factory look but I like that. Even if I am not personally in love with the hood I like the fact that the owner is committed to his theme and is not afraid to make changes in pursuit of his goals.

I personally find it more difficult to understand people who buy a car and never change anything on it. To include keeping the license plate advertisement for a Saturn dealer that screwed them and then went out of business.

But then diversity is what contributes to an interesting discussion.

As my dad always said, "if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all."

I always admire the style and corresponding effort most of us put into our cars. Some of what I see certainly isn't my taste, but I nonetheless appreciate the achievement. Gawd knows my mods are not to everyone's taste.

However, when I do see something where I not only appreciate the effort, but also the style, I do tend to pile on with the compliments.

I like it overall, but not so much the hood. I like Norm's new hood better.

I think mine was pretty mild. Certainly no intent to belittle the owner's choices. Besides, Norm's new hood isn't available yet, so there was little alternative choices.

BTW The "roll" bar Norm made is a one off, GTO.

As usual, great work by a fine craftsman.

Not my style- I'm not much for body cladding and add-ons, and still very nice work.

I do have Norm's rear diffuser. Very nice- it's as the car should have been from the factory.

Also not a fan of the hood, but then the point of the thread wasn't the hood but the splitter, right? And I am definitely a fan of that splitter! It's going on my wish list, and if I am ever able to make purchase I will be backing into every parking spot from then on!

If u took math...the sum is equal to all of its parts... If u do not like the hood...and u like the other parts...guess the answer ????

Um, then the answer would be I kind of like the car but not completely? One thumb up instead of two? I'm a little confused as to what you're getting at here...

I just figured the rest of the car, while shown in the photographs, wasn't the primary object of attention since the name of the thread is "Norm's new Sky front splittler," so in regards to Norm's new Sky front splitter...I like it

I like the front splitter myself, but it seems to me that it needs the side skirts to match up with it to look great on the car. Are there any for the Sky or does the GXP ones on the site work for both cars?

I'm not a fan of the hood too. But Ben (the owner) might love it.

To each his own, you know?

I want the Sky to retain its sharp and fine lines.

But definitely this front splitter will go to my car!!!

I LOVE the upcoming viper-style hood though

Your dad was a wise man, and I'm going to follow his advice to the letter on this car.

It's not a mod unless power tools were involved.

'08 R/L. Midnight Blue, tan/black leather, tan top, stick, Monsoon, Fujita & MagnaFlow, Rancho bushings and a nice, tall antenna.
