What do you think?

Should I take off the SKY lettering or leave it on? Lettering is off

Just want to get some input
Thanks

It looks good. I'd probably take the Sky off if you plan on leaving the Opel badge on.

Although I like the Opel badges better than the Saturn badges, and GT is so much more cliché than SKY, our SKY is not an Opel GT...it's a Saturn SKY.

That said, you've done a nice job.

If you're going Opel motif, don't go halfway. Remove the SKY.

Thanks for the comments

I think Bogie is right and I will remove the lettering.

Thanks again

You have to get rid of the box that the Saturn Logo was sitting on.

Ceeker did this and it came out awesome. I remember him saying that the guy that grinded it off, had to back fill the bumper for support. But man, his came out perfect.

Don't listen to Marlboro Mike in regards to appearance mods on the car. He's retired and isn't up on all the hip new trends. If he dislikes it, that's a compliment. His and my tastes have an inverse relationship. Heck didn't he want to put white walls on his sky?!?

Take off the sky lettering. I don't like duplicate lettering, let alone conflicting duplicate lettering.

Wasn't it you who removed the "zits" also? No more GM logo on your car either!

I like the Opel logo, looks great. I would definitey remove the Sky lettering.

I agree it would look a lot better without the box, IMHO

Yes I agree, I am still trying to find someone to do that.

They all say that by patching the hole it will start to halo around the patch and they don’t want to do that to a new car with nothing wrong with it.

I took off the SKY lettering and the box doesn't show up to the eye as it does in the pictures.

Thanks

He says he doesn't like the Blustone, but I think deep down inside he likes the bluestone and wished he had one....and he doesn't like Morfious's rims, but i think they are awsome on a yellwow car..

I have always liked the Opel logo..looks very good, but i feel that the SKY should go....and don't add roadster, we know it's a Roadster...I was thinking about the whole Opel thing, but right now i am thinking about selling my "pride and joy"....

Did you change the front too? If so then I think you should remove all Saturn, and SKY logos. Just my way of thinking, but I do have a 1973 Opel GT that i keep next to my 2008 RL

willis, I have removed the sky lettering but thinking of keeping the emblem on the water fall. here is the front end, I have changed out the orange blinkers to LED- white when the running lights are on and orange when they blink,I changed the side reflectors to clear with orange LED's and 8000K HID for head lights.

I love it. I also love the Saturn Badge turned Black. I did this to all of my Badges including the Red Line on the back ( Black line now)

It looks great. The wheels go very good with the look of the car What kind of questions do you get when you take it out?
