Personal Plates

If anyone would like a pic of their personal plate on my website, please let me know . Just email me a pic and I will post it.

I was wondering, someone asked me not too long ago, why I chose to get personal plates or FF plates instead of regular. Their reason of why I chose them is because I AM AROGANT. WOW... that was a bit out there. Made me feel like crap. anyway, besides , they are cool and express our personalities, is there any other reason anyone gets personalized? Just wondering. Thanks. I want personalized plates, but just can't come up with the right saying yet. I come up with ones, and my wife and 12 y-o son think they're stupid. My wife comes up with one and I don't like it. Just can't seem to find the right choice!

I just ordered mine

07 SKY RL

I want to remove the badging off the rear end. I have to have a plate, so why not put enough info to identify the car there?

Got March 1st

SKY2RUN

With a light blue background on my midnight blue Sky RL. I sent off the form the first week of December and this was not my first choice, SKYBABY was but someone else in the the state of Oklahoma has that tag, I hope she does skydiving and jumps from an airplane
REDLINE was my second choice and I think its a name of a business and they have the tag, darn it.
At least I have something different

In Alabama, you can transfer the plates to a different car. I just transferred two plates, one to my Sky that I had on a Maxima and one to the Maxima that my wife had on her Saturn SC2. Check into laws in Florida. Just because you don't have a Sky doesn't mean you can't have SKYBABY on another car--don't know about the truck, since some states require special truck plates.

I had fun with my plate and got "GOBLIN". I figured since my Sky is green it would make sense. I also checked into it, and I can transfer the tag to my new R/L when it comes in. Can't wait! Next month Goblin will be quicker and a deeper growl!

My first choice was "THELMIT". But it looked too much like some wierd word. "THELMT", "THELIMT" wasn't much better. "DALIMIT" was OK to me, but others say it sounded...well...not fitting for the car. It was an inside joke with my wife, cuz I really wanted a Lotus Elise, and she told me that "The Sky's the limit". So my Sky is my limit.

Since I am a nurse anesthetist I am going with a first choice of "Sandman". It may be taken, but I am going to try.
