I just finished posting my pictures from the Long Beach Formula Drift season opener. Yes the Sky was there drifting in all it's glory being driven by Darren McNamara. The drifting pics were the first ones to go up but the pics from the pits and the car show will be posted shortly. www.speedsyndicate.net

That is great... I was hoping it would be back this year. After it's extremely quick ending last year in the opener... wasn't sure what would happen.

Can't wait to see the pics when I am not at work.

This is a brand new Sky build by AutoSport Dynamics for the 2008 season. Falken Tire came to ASD and asked us to build it. The Sky from last year was totaled after a wreck last summer. you can see more pictures of it at myspace.com/autosportdynamics and there will soon be more pictures/news at autosportdynamics.com

Very nice photo timeline... I love that you reskinned the Kappa that started as a Sol with the Sky parts. :-)

Do you know if it will participate in any of the NOPI Drift events or is it built strictly for D1???

The Sears/Falken Sky is racing in the Formula Drift (Formula D) series and is currently 10th in points. It will also run the D1 USA vs Japan All-Star World Championship at Irwindale later this year.
