we just bought a 2007 redline, and I'm wondering if the switch in front of the driver seat is a power seat height adjustment. I hear a motor turning but nothing happens?
Getting back to the original question. Am I incorrect in thinking that the power seat option came out with the 08 models, I know that is true for the Solstice. If so your seat my have been added by a previous owner thus the power source for the seat motor would have had to been added. Pulling the seat requires removing the 4 seat track bolts and seat beat connection. that should allow you to access the wiring connection on the bottom of the seat. The seat belt does not need to be removed to inspect just protect the rocker area for scratching the painted surface when pulling seat out.

Power seat height adjuster came out in the fall of 2006.
The early redlines did not have. My car, built in Nov 2006 did not have and seems to have just missed it. Ahnuld Gets His Redline!!!!!

What is your Vin#. Is it before #1414 or after 1414?
The 2006 Saturn Sky NA with the 1414 vin# was a GM test car. They (GM) had 5th graders assemble this car at the plant in order to find out if Union Worker had it easy.. The car turn out to be a piece of crap, so they raffled it out to a homeless group out in New Jersey...
