Question about Rear Dif

Who has the most miles on their car without ever having had their Rear Dif go out on them?

I'm at a little over 11k now.

I'm only at 8,600 after one year of ownership and unless it is snowing out, this is my daily driver....no leaks yet but the clunk is sure noticable.

Why wouldn't you get the clunk fixed under the warranty? It sure must be annoying.

Wow, that was close. Anyone know how much it would cost to replace the Rear Dif if you had to pay out of pocket for it?

Will Saturn still charge you for this if it is a known issue for this car even though yours maybe didn't go out until after warranty?

30,000 miles without any problems with the rear. Only problem I had early on was with the top and the dealer replaced it quickly. No other problems. Very satisfied with the quality and reliability of my Sky.
