Rear Valance Question

I was just wondering if anyone had ordered the Redline rear valance from Saturn. If you have, how much did it run and was it ready to be installed or did it need to be painted like the one that Saturn Motorsport sells?

I got mine from Saturn in December, it was about $250 or so, it comes ready to install (I had the dealer do it) and it does not need to be painted.

Dealer quoted me $235.00 back in January, (I got it from a friend who owns a body shop for $170.00) It was ready to install out of the box, no painting, the color of the plastic is the black/charcoal gray color that your base Valance is.
There was a post by "gwader" tiltled "How to install redline dual exhaust or any other bolt on." that shows how to remove the Valance and install a redline stock system.

I was actually looking at that post earlier today when I was searching for an answer to the question so I didn't have to ask.

I bought one in January from the dealer, it was $230.63 plus tax. I installed it myself. Talked to a couble of body shops and they told me it could not be painted, or at least they would not guaranty it. Has anyone out there had one painted, and if so, how is it holding up?

I cut my rear valance the other day and it turned out great. It only took me about 45 minutes and it was so easy it really wasnt with it to me to spend 200-300 bucks. unless I screwed it up. hahaha
YOU CAN DO ITTTT!!

I will post pictures once the system is back up and running.

Ricky get that dealer sticker off that car. Unless of course he is paying you for the advertising you are doing for him.

I had ordered my rear valance from one of the vendors that likes to come on here all the time. After I ordered it, they sent me an email telling me it would be a month long wait due to being backordered. After cancelling that (it didn't say anything on their webpage about it not being in stock), I ordered a Redline valance from a local dealer for $250ish+tax. The other vendor that I bought the exhaust from lowered their price 3 days after I bought their product and didn't think it was necessary to give me a break for my mistiming unless I agreed to buy something else from them. Luckily, I'm not interested in buying from them again.

Yes you are correct Guys it is a camera. My Wife said when she drives my car, which is very seldom, she has trouble seeing out it at night so I installed the camera. It works really good and it is easy to hook up because it is Blue Tooth. I will try to atach a picture.

Ok guys the dealer sticker is off. Now I have to work on the TX sticker on the windshield which is a pain, then it will be clean. It does look a lot better..
