Talking RedLine Exhaust Finally Installed!!!

WOOOO WHOOOO!!!! Finally after all of these months of waiting (5+) for the 02 Sensor to come in Sinister has her Redline Dual Exhaust System on!!!!!!

I can't believe just a little $77 part was holding it up but we picked it up on Saturday while at the dealership & with in a few hours Vinny had it installed and sounding soooooooooooo great!!!!!

Between the AEM Intake and Exhaust she sounds like a COMPLETELY different car! It's amazing!!!!!!!

That is the only thing I miss with Chili is the nice sounding exhaust. Maybe down the road I will do something like this.

Glad you finally have your baby with all it's external goodies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anything I take off of her I am keeping therefore the old sensor is attached to the original exhaust.

WILL NOT VOID WARRANTY!

MY TOP and biggest concern of course too Sweetie!!!! I called Saturn Corporate, & most importantly talked to Director of Service that would have that "call" on things like that and she said NO without a doubt NO.

SKY 07 : I don't have a redline can I put dual exhaust on Snow White. Post some details or PM me... I need to get that done. Yours look fantastic. I am jealous. T.
The RL comes from the factory with dual exhaust. Many of us have swapped our stock single exhaust with cast-off RL duals. The rear valence has to be cut out or replaced, and the whole job takes about an hour to an hour and a half. I re-used the O2 sensor when I swapped mine.

SKY 07 : OMG I have no Idea what the heck you are talking about. I am learning everyday about car stuff but I have to admit I am not an auto repair geek. Was that a Yes I can change my exhaust even though I don't have a redline????? Do I order parts from GM? Dam! Sometimes it sucks to be a women!!!!!! T.
Yes. You can change your exhaust.

You have several options for where to get to get the parts:
- You can buy a RL exhaust from GM.
- You can probably find a RL exhaust that someone has taken off their car.
- You can buy a non-GM exhaust.

Don't order parts from a Saturn dealership....they will just bend you over...remember?

Check out this thread.....
How to install redline dual exhaust or any other bolt on.

It gives you a real feel for what it takes, it truly is very easy.....even if you don't get a friend to change it out, at the very least you'll be an "informed consumer" and know what it takes when you check into having a shop install it............

Looks awesome KimberlySky. Just how it should. Nice rear end

P.S. Arizona(Tucson/Phonix) I am getting ready to upgrade to the RPi exhaust and I would rather see the redline stock exhaust go to a deserving board member if they want it. So if you want a stock redline exhaust with 8000 miles on it just PM me and its yours "FREE"

yeah it only took about 45 min, not too bad, and sounds totally different. I'm impressed with how much that little change did in a few ways for the car.

Did Mine

I just finished my dual install on a baseline. Bought the RL exhaust from a member, followed the instuctions on the "how to install a dual exhaust on a baseline" and dealer installed the exhaust. I don't have ramps, jacks, etc.
Dealer cost to me $100 for labor. Here's the pictures. Totally difference sound. Love it.
